"My apartment was a quiet and nice place until new tenants came in and made noise every day and night. I called the emergency line multiple times and emailed & called the office but It seems like it didn't change anything. I wake up at a random night time almost every day because the noise happens at 1 am - 6 am. (upstairs person’s stomping sounds, banging sounds, the sound of the windows shaking due to these noises) it impacts me & my husband sleep schedule and daily life. All I want is quiet and peaceful sleep. When I contacted the office twice, the office staff told me he would contact me, so I waited but I haven't heard from him since. I'm so tired of calling and contacting for the same problem for a month."

"Detailed review after living in The Springs for some months. Please read it. I don’t recommend it. The negative points are way longer than the positive ones. - Low quality apartment. The unit I got is very worn out and they will do nothing to upgrade or fix it. I have never put so many maintenance requests in a place. I have a 1 bedroom apartment in the first floor. Appliances are old and they don’t replace them. My stacked washer and dryer has loose panels and is literally rusting on top of it. Maintenance just painted in black to cover it and didn’t fix the loose panels. The dishwasher leaks underneath after 1h running and they didn’t fix it. If you need maintenance for anything is a painful process. Emergency maintenance guy was rude the only time I needed it because I got locked out. On top of that he forced the door to the point the frame got all damaged and a door replacement was necessary. There are cracks on the walls painting in different points in the apartment. In my first month (summer) there was water leaking in my bedroom after raining and carpet got wet. They had to open wall corner to corner to redo the sealer. They don’t pay attention to details. They painted the repaired wall incompletely, leaving 2 shades of color on the same wall. I had to put another request to fix that and still they did it poorly. There’s a bad design on the position of the smoke detector. Every time I cook, if stove is used, the heat concentrates on the corner where the detector is located and it triggers the alarm. The positive things are the rent cost and the summer events the leasing office organizes for the community."
"I put in a service request to fix the hot water in my shower two days ago, and nothing has yet to be done about it. We're dealing with single digit weather, and it's not being treated as an emergency. Anytime I have a service request it takes two+ days for anything to get done about it, and I usually have to speak with management or call the office in West Bloomfield to see any results. The people working in the office never answer the phone when most times they're 3 people at the desk looking at a computer. I could literally call from the front door, and no one would answer the phone. Update: My shower was finally fixed and the maintenance man, Kevin, was very courteous and prompt. He recently transferred over here from a sister property, and he is a much-needed asset to the team here at The Springs. Thank you!"
"I want to give a great big thank you to Charlene and Mindy for setting up a contract to get my new carpet installed ! There had been a waterline break and 4 1st floor apartments were affected with flooding water! The mechanics the carpet installers this whole team went beyond expectations to get everything fixed or replaced right after the damage! I loved the carpet guys and the floor guy Jon, and Rico and Leif in maintenance for the awesome jobs they all have done! God Bless you all and have a great Thanksgiving!
