"I like living here we have some Karen’s that will complain about anything but overall they have been good landlords. Was a fat women who would always through her trash from the balcony but that’s not the landlords fault."

"I have lived here for about 5 months. I was priced out of Kalamazoo, the rent here is reasonable for the size of the apartment. Like most people I have concerns more about neighbors, the condition of the grounds and general safety. My particular building is fine as far as loudness goes, most of my neighbors have younger children. My main issue is the terrible smell of cat urine that lingers at the stairwell coming from the apartment on the ground floor. As well as the sketchy characters that find their way to the back of our building from the woods. There is a public trail behind the apartment but it’s filled with homeless camps and there is lots of trash and broken glass that finds it’s way behind my building. My balcony overlooks the woods which are beautiful just as long as I don’t look down to the path behind the building. I put up a privacy screen which makes the experience better. They don’t have too many rules about what you can or cannot do with your balcony and the walls in the apartment, and everything is a great size for the price. My car has been safe and they do have covered parking available for an extra fee. However, the parking lot is poorly lit and always in disrepair. They need to re-pave the entire lot, repair some of the carports and completely re-do the fencing around the trash receptacles. I also wish they offered package receiving or had a deal with a local place in order for us to get discounts. I’ve seen a lot of Amazon prime boxes ripped open and laying around. The property manager herself recommended I not receive important packages here but get a P.O Box or have items sent to a friends home. A few of my neighbors have security cameras at their doors and windows. I only receive deliveries here when I know I will be home. Overall, it’s a tolerable place to live especially for the size/condition of the apartment itself and my neighbors keep things at a reasonable volume."

"When we first moved in it looked kinda rough, but they redid the parking lot and I've seen other improvements over the time my mother has lived here. My moms place has a great view of the river and the pond. There is a lot of kids that live here and unfortunately have nowhere to play. The rent has went up three times since we moved in. I dont feel its worth the price but I feel like its the nicest apartment in the complex so I cant complain. We got good neighbors where we are at. The only thing that really bugs me is the sewer will start to stink on a really hot day and if you park over it you'll regret it."

"I have lived at Treetop for 20 yrs now when it was another name. I do say that there has been a high turnover of managers and owners, however, the most recent have been the best. They respond quickly to repairs getting it done same day if not busy with other tenants. They have professionalism in speaking, are understanding, and sympatetic to all. They take time to address concerns with much patience from irate tenants complaints about what is going on and offer valid helpful solutions. I enjoy living here. If its too loud, I just put on earphone noise canceling as it is only during holidays being loud. Most neighbors care what is going on and will look out for one another. I would say, if you like being close to bus and stores and downtown, its a great place to live."

"in the year that I lived here they went through 3 different property managers, none of which knew what they were doing aside from the latest one Alicia, she was very polite and helpful through my final few months there. The apartments themselves are decent but the neighbors are very inconsiderate with blasting music until 2am shaking the floor and yelling all night long along with their parking lot parties that will last until the cops show up. There is constantly trash all over the parking lots and stairwells such as dirty diapers, chicken wing bones, empty cigarette packs and swisher packs. All 3 of my vehicles were broken into and management basically said “sorry but keep a better eye on your vehicles”. The parking lot is falling apart all over with pot holes bigger than your tire. The current property manager is great and the apartments themselves are decent but the whole atmosphere is awful."
