"Sadly we had plenty of troubles during our 8 Months living at Campus Court. To compensate for different problems Campus Court offered to compensate us, by returning 2 Months worth of rent. To this day (4 and a half months after moving out) I still have not received the second part of the money. Also I did not get my Deposit back for no reason! They simply did not give me a check and are not responding to mails or calls. I do hope that they will soon return my money otherwise the smalls claim court will be the way to go. I would strongly recommend getting an apartment somewhere else!"
"Staff are kind and helpful but I feel like Campus Court is the ignored step-child to Campus View. The roads there are horrendous in comparison and the company they contract with refuses to pave the potholes so they just get left there year-round. It's like driving in mario-cart to avoid them. The sidewalks and parking lots are also VERY dangerous in the winter because they didn't salt nearly enough, so just be careful. I injured my back and was out of work for two weeks because the entire sidewalk was icy and I fell. They did not offer compensation, they just apologized. Which honestly, should have been a lawsuit but I digress. Also, you never know if your wifi is going to work. If you can afford somewhere better, DO IT... Cheers!"
"So far so good! Campus Court apartments are an average price with a great location. Being that they are some of the oldest apartments in the area they are still kept up with and everything is easy. Free parking, cable, and wifi makes my life so much easier. You have to pay your electric but if you are mindful of the air/heat you shouldn't have an issue. Packages are safely delivered to the office and I love that they have free coffee. Staff is always friendly and willing to help out the best they can."
"Move in and living at Campus Court has been not so good. During move in I was told that I would not be able to access my apartment, so management put me up in a hotel. I should mention that I had hired movers, and incurred a large cost because of having to move the date. During move in long lines of similarly disgruntled apartment renters would flood out of the door and onto the side walk of the rental office, because management had everyone moving in on the same day. The Rental office opens at 10:00AM, always, even during the massive screw up that was move in for me and many other apartment renters the rental company decided to open at 10:00 AM and not earlier to try to work through some of the issues. I did eventually get into the apartment, and a lot was unfinished and broken, notably, there was no smoke detector, water, there was a hole in the kitchen wall, the patio door needed replacement, and my roommates window was wielded shut by paint. Of that list, only the smoke detector has been fixed, and the water turned on. But most importantly, the AC didn't work, it was a sweltering 95 degrees, and here I am trying to unpack and the AC doesn't work, it took them two weeks to fix it. Then, when we tried to use the washer and dryer the washer flooded the apartment and the apartment below us. They might have sent a water cleanup company immediately, but it took them two weeks to fix the washer. Then, well, now my roommate has fleas in his room and has been getting bit, and the rental company has neglected to even look into the matter for five days. However, Management and Maintenance have always had a smile, and the refinished parts of the apartment are kind of neat."
"The 2 bedroom apartment layout was bigger than I expected, but it is kind of old. It isn't a huge problem, especially for the rent price and proximity to Notre Dame campus. The first time I ever came to these apartments just to visit a friend, GPS took me to the back, which seemed a little sketch at first since it isn't well lit. I do wish there was more lighting in the parking lots for safety, especially when coming home late from campus. I do like the staff at the leasing office & have never had a problem interacting with them. We were even able to get a visitor parking pass on game day without any troubles. It's also nice that there's free coffee in there; it's the little things."
