"Toilet didn’t flush right you had to push so hard on the handle you thought you were going to break it. Shower curtain rod, was falling off to the point that the water while you were showering would just go out all over the floor left a terrible mess. Drain for shower was plugged. I was standing in 3 inches of water by the time I was done showering. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Price was great."

"Clean and updated rooms. Nice staff hot breakfast. Only problem 2x in a row was noisy people drinking outside our window in the early hours of the morning. We Asked when checking in the second time to not be on that side of the building but the guy put us in the next room down the hallway. We won't let that happen again because we do like staying here."

"Very outdated hotel. Elevator was down for several hours on a busy football Saturday. Ceiling in bathroom...room 216 was torn and falling apart. The room smelled like feet and urine mixed with a room deodorizer. Pullout sofa was old and had stains. Our sheets had stains on them. Asked for new linen from the housekeepers near the front desk. They went to the linen room which was a disaster of piled sheets on a table. They came to clean our room....and all they did was sweep the carpet (which made the room smell worse) and piled all the sheets on the bed without making the bed. They exchanged our towels but only gave us one washcloth. We had to ask for the towel for the floor by the bathtub. Towels are old and worn. The air conditioner came on and off whenever it wanted to cycle regardless of how we set it. Drapes are old. The staff was missing from the front desk many times. Breakfast was ok but not like a Holiday inn express. And they charged the rooms for two nights when we checked in. Usually you give a credit card on hold then it gets charged on checkout. My friend and I wanted to split the cost of the room and pay with separate credit cards upon checkout. They were unable to do that. Stated they would have to refund the credit card that was on hold and that would take awhile. Stay away from this hotel unless old and dirty doesn't bother you."

"The room smelled like weed upon very first entry! I informed the desk clerk and invited her to come to the room and smell it herself. She declined, of course, but confirmed I just walked into the room, so it's not me, AND the previous occupant was there for months... ok, and.... the room still smelled like somebody just smoked in there.... The room wasn't worth 119.00 at all, indoor pool closed, blah service."

"So, our overall experience at this hotel is that it's a great place to sleep when you need to sleep, but don't expect good customer service. I'm not sure if the young woman running the desk was having a bad day or maybe it was her first day, but even after returning to the front to get working keys (we were given two key cards) only one worked. Our room appeared clean, but as we stepped in, it very obviously had not been vacuumed as there were pizza crusts on the floor under the bed and other debris on the carpets as well. The room we had was an accessible room for my Mom, so there was lots of space, with a big shower and bathroom - the floor was in desperate need of a good wash though. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or cups or anything needed to make coffee. When we went and asked for it we were told "it's in the room" and when we said it wasn't there, the young woman at the front said "I don't believe you" and told us to just come out in the morning and get coffee from the breakfast area. Beds were comfy. Great place to sleep. Bring your own coffee grounds."
