"This facility is a perfect example of how not to manage any kind of business! It’s a Low income based facility yet they won’t except someone and the 2 kids who really NEEDS a place to call home more then I can explain.. they denied them and won’t give them the reason after accepting them and dragging them until the last second. Which is now going to put them in a homeless position. They have nothing and NEED and have the financial guarantee of payments but the management is worried about the state performing a simple inspection and it’s a sad thing that they have a complex that obviously is under par and just want to also state that I’ll be on every web site I can to tell this, as well my connections with WZZM 13 FOX 17 employees they will be my first stop to discuss a stint on this exact problem! It’s not just Red oak management it’s others but this isn’t ok... people who need the help are being pushed around within the system with no one to hold anyone accountable. It’s RED OAKS choices on how they want to handle this! Concerned Neighbors"

"Idek where to begin. I’ve lived here since I was a baby. I am 18 now. We moved from one building to another in the past year but use to live in the first one ever since I was a baby. When I was young it wasn’t bad at all. But things never got done. In the past year or more it’s been very heartbreaking and disappointing. Management isn’t great. Most handyman employees don’t know what they’re doing and they just always look for the cheapest/ hardest / fastest way to fix it. Not permanently either. It’s basically the workers that make the environment here absolutely revolting. Some neighbors can be very disturbing. But the employees rlly make me mad. JUST DONT MOVE HERE!"

"I lived on 7 mile in Detroit, and I would recommend that over this, in a second. Lived there nearly two years and it was one horrible disaster/violet incident after another. Amongst other countless violent occurrences we had to endure in the complex, we also were broken into AT LEAST 3 times. Management was absolutely at fault as well and neglectful in every way. Any attempt I ever made on behalf of my and my toddlers safety was left either call-screened or victim blamed when it came to the land-lady/manager(and in the time I was there we went through 6!!) DO NOT apply here if you are a parent, or care what goes on around you at all. Other residents, “neighbors”, the “management”, and the staff are honestly too bad to even be called a joke. They’re just plain terrible. The money you will spend on a better apartment complex, I promise you, will not compare to the counseling appointments your children will undoubtedly need in the future from living at this place."
