"The office staff is friendly and the rent for a standard (no upgrades) 2 bedroom apartment can’t be beat. The patio is very spacious with a gorgeous view. However, those are the only positives. The Cons: Upon moving in, the gas stove wouldn’t work. We submitted a repair request and the turn-around time was 2 weeks. We figured out the issue and resolved it ourselves so we wouldn’t have to order out for 2 weeks. It just needed to be turned on. A 5 min job with a 2-week wait. A couple months into living there, someone knocked over a mailbox and our mail was undeliverable for over 2 months. The hallways are disgusting and run down. Some of them are partially updated, but it looks like they abandoned the project because what’s left is torn carpet and exposed wall studs. They’re also never clean and the stairs are caked with mud because we live in a building with tenants that work outside laying cable. A neighbor had their stove replaced and the previous one sat in the hallway at the top of the stairs for over a month. When carrying an infant, we had to maneuver around it. The stove in the hallway was caked with dried, burnt food. It looked like someone poured melted cheese over the entire thing and left it sit. So not only was it an inconvenience to move around, it also was an eyesore. Our floors are uneven and have hard bumps in certain places, so it feels like you’re walking over rocks. Our trim is missing under the kitchen sink and cabinets and falling down in the bathroom. We submitted a repair request for that, a broken screen door, and broken bathroom door. None of them have been fixed. It’s been 3 months. And lastly, while most of the residents are polite, expect to hear domestic disputes frequently. On average, about 3 nights a week. During the summer, a lot of parties and people hanging in large groups in front of the buildings on the weekends. Expect loud music. Security patrol does nothing."

"I came in to look at apartments and I talked to a girl named Julie she was completely rude and brushed me off the girl seriously looked like she was on drugs. I have no interest in living in a place I feel unwanted."

"My unit was considered more of a update compared to some units. For the price of Apt. Did not meet standards of living nor Management care/maitenence was horrible 2 stars at best for Ashton Woods!!"

"They are unprofessional they have leasing signs up but when I came and ask for an app they said they not renting they judge books by it’s cover for sure and it’s not right I had deposit and and first months rent I couldn’t even get my words out when i walked in the office they rejected me so fast and the lady was black but ig she working all for yt ppl idk"

"Would be a ZERO if possible. They require you to declaw your cat in order to live there which is animal abuse. Already sent a report to SPCA. Horrific."
