New Beginnings Church

"Sunday folks are quick in and quick out. There is a formal time each Sunday to greet each other, but in my opinion not a friendly church. I would recommend joining a small group of one decides to go here. This church is really a group of groups, and you will have to find the one you fit into. For a newcomer, but also a Christian in his 60's, this church felt very isolating to me. That was a surprise because the Whitehall location has perhaps 120 to 130 people on Sunday, so not real big, yet I would still say one needs a small group to join for a sense of connection. I would almost say people were friendly to those within their groups but not so much to others. Pastor Jeremy is a better preacher than most, but again, this is a church that is small group focused, and not overall easy for the newcomer unless you find the group that's a good fit for you. Pastor Jeremy is on YouTube and is worth watching, his messages are orthodox Pentecostal, better than most of what you see on so called Christian tv."

They have a room for the children to learn about Jesus and to play and be entertained. A little coffee shop inside, easy access from the 31 only a hundred or so yards away."
