"The worst Drive away company that I have worked for. They don't pay enough, sneaky loads, they will charge you almost $1400 for a small scratch, nothing but a ripoff and fraudulent activities. I did ask them for The repair receipt but they refused, taking them to court soon."
"Have been trucking for 18 years... this is one of the two worst companies I have ever encountered... the other of the two I was with for 11 years straight... This is not a company that treats drivers as people... there isn't a real orientation like other companies have... you are given a couple online courses and they throw you to it. If you try to reach out to a specific person about a particular issue they call you rude for daring to ask a question... this company likes to do things via their app. They do not like direct phone calls. The despise direct contact. They try to keep the facade going that you are a number and not a person who mattees.... Any emails will be forwarded to someone they call a 'dispatch manager '... he is a former marine who still thinks he is in the military... "How DARE you email someone other than myself and break the chain of command?!" he bellows... now I have the utmost respect for the military... my brother is a marine... bur we are not in the marine Corp trying to get questions answered... we are not nine years old... and there is a reason Victory has such terrible reviews from their drivers and customers... if you are serious about being a valuable asset in the trucking community look elsewhere... ANYWHERE is better except Indiana Transport... Today I get an email stating I have been deleased after my 3rd run with the company... reasons given: complaints filed with upper management for daring to ask questions... and for being mean... all lies.. I forwarded all my emails to the owner proving I was never mean to any of them... the owner has yet to respond... they also cited complaints from drop off locations... now I have only had three deliveries with this company... first two customers gave 5 out of 5 stars... third company complained I went over my miles...yes that happens when an interstate is closed due to an avalanche... second they said "oh and you had $5K worth of driving damage yet they laughed when we asked for photos, etc. We then submitted 12 post Trip photos to them showing the vehicle was perfect upon delivery... we even washed it for them as a courtesy from all tge snow and grime... our pay has been held hostage now for seven days and Victory has done NOTHING. We will be seeing both Victory and their customer in court very soon... we do not tolerate lies and deceit in this business... stay away from these people..."
"The company, or should I just say the blob of people working in opposite directions, are just that. Get a load, no fuel on card that will suffice to complete the load. Ohh yeah, $500 to get there to pick up. Oh they are not sure where load is. Paperwork kinda lost. Ohhh. It shows up later. Then got to get hotel and downtime but they said they will get in trouble if they pay for it. Oh yeah . Then you got to talk to 5 people and they transfer you in the 5 circle repeatedly. Well take it where you can at that point. Go home, park it up and have them get it if they don't want to pay you for your load. Oh lock the keys in the unit. That may be best."
"I started at Victory Driveaway because I was told by the recruiter that Victory had long/longer loads, we even discussed in detail about the 220 supposed loads on the board prior to being hired and the multiple loads from Elkhart, IN to the west coast. However, after drug test ($45), orientation (2 hours) and the more than 3 emails of long “rules” I got on the load board and they only had 18 loads going places that didn’t even make sense for me financially, even though it was discussed prior to joining that they did have loads going places that would financially work for me. The vibe I got from all the “rules” was I was being extremely micromanaged in order to be paid I must deal with the 1,0001 rules. It’s not difficult to pickup a unit, look it over for damage and follow a few basic rules and get it delivered, signed off and paid. All I asked for was HONESTY, if they didn’t have the freight, that’s all they had to do was be HONEST and I would have focused my energy on other organizations. It sounds like this place has a lot of communication issues based on misinformation upfront, and then nothing adds up after the fact. They want communication, but don’t communicate. You must take a load of less than 1,000 miles on first run, which they didn’t tell me during initial discussions. I ask a lot of questions before I invest my time in anything, I even have emails asking these same upfront questions to them regarding load availability. I don’t understand how or why any of this even has to be discussed when it was discussed in length already, it seems lying is the new honest. I sent emails about fuel advance, etc and no one responds. VP Jim Nywening would rather hash things out over email and blame me that I didn’t understand things and that I’m not a good fit then realize I wanted what was offered but I was lied about what was truly offered after the fact. I agree Jim, we aren’t a good fit, my time is valuable and I ask questions to understand what I’m getting into, not to waste time and go around in circles just to get another new hire. Update: I was emailed and asked to remove my “negative” review, I’m entitled to my own opinion Jim, and the behavior that led to this review was true, otherwise I wouldn’t have left a review….."
