"Nothing too flashy, just your average apartment. Cons: I ended up paying a little more than I was expecting based on average rent in the area, but this was due to the fact that mine was a short-term lease to match my travel job contract which was originally only 3 months(extended to 4 months). There was a little bit of aesthetic wear and tear(missing window screen, tears in a couch, etc...), but everything to meet basic needs was in order and operational. There wasn't any AC in the apartment, but that obviously would only be an issue for those staying during summer months(the area is essentially based off of winter sport activities). There wasn't a microwave in the apartment which I thought was odd and made reheating certain meals a little more of a hassle, but I usually make my meals day to day on the stovetop anyway. Pros: Essentially an equal commute to either Bessemer or Ironwood, so the location is nice. The landlord has a very fast response time to emails which was greatly appreciated. The neighbors during my stay were extremely friendly and were also generally quiet during the evenings. Easy and beautiful 30 minute drive away from Black River Harbor(Lake Superior)."

"I had a pleasant stay at this condo. I found my apartment to be clean and furnished, although a bit dated. There was some smells in the hallway, but to be expected of an older building. The hot tub and fireplace were not in operating order, but that was clearly explained up front. I stayed the winter here, and did not experience any heating or other breakdowns. The front was kept plowed fairly regularly. I was very satisfied with the communication with the landlord, with a fairly swift response if I had any questions. I appreciated this! I found the neighborhood to be very quiet. I appreciated being close to town and shopping, yet in a forest, resort area. Overall, a good experience."

"It isn't a bad place to say. It's out in the county which is the only plus. If you can't deal with freezing to death most winters and no service at all so if you get one of these until you won't be able to make a single call. The whole place smells like garage, the landlord doesn't want to fix anything even if it's damaging people's lifes. There is also mold everywhere in the apartment."

"I stayed here for awhile. There was a lot of TLC that is needed. The heat would regularly not work, the place was never plowed in the morning, the hot tub and fire place did not work, and the dumpster was a hot spot for people to dump. There were regularly raccoons and other animals breaking into the dumpster. The place was filthy and there was junk stored there. The landlord did not fulfill any promises he made. Nothing was ever fixed during my time there. Working with the landlord was a nightmare. I have never had a worse landlord. If you can find a different place, stay there. These over priced condos are not worth it."
