Ken-O-Sha Park

"Great place with trails and very well made activity sets! There's bridges and creeks and a nice trail. This place is also I believe dog friendly as I seen many people walking their dogs. Felt like a safe spot right next to the school. Clean and absolutely beautiful even on a colder day."

"All trails recommended this Plaster Creek hike. I'm an avid hiker, having done several sections of the AT, the PCT, the NCT, etc I thought this would be a nice little day hike for New Year's. And it was ...as long as I stayed on the paved area. But as soon as the pavement ended, there were multiple piles of trash scattered throughout the woods and several tent encampments with a lot of trash. Perhaps homeless areas? It was supposed to be an easy out and back 5.5 mi. But in addition to all the trash to look at, the trail expected you to cross over 28th Street. So there is an out and back Plaster Creek trail, not well-marked, with multiple trash piles and trashy tent areas, plus a busy street street to cross."

"Wonderful way to get some nature in the city. There is a long paved path (Plaster Creek Trail) but also lots of intersecting dirt trails on both sides of the creek that are great for hiking, dog-walking, and mountain biking. They have little bridges, jumps, and balance beams for mountain biking. Most of the dirt trails are on the north side of the creek, across the large pedestrian bridge."

"Great park for a hike. There were a lot of dirt trails to hike, but no trail markers to show you the way. It was nice that there isn't much under growth, so you never really feel like you're getting lost though. Dogs are welcome but they have to be leashed."

"Ken-O-Sha park is great for easy to moderate hiking. There is a River/creek that runs throughout which gives some nice diversity in view. There are paved and unpaved paths throughout. Kid friendly with a fun and unique playground area next to parking lot."
