The Neighbors Apartment

"In response to anyone reading the negative reviews for the Neighbors by Matthew Kenney and Julia Zayan, thus is advise any reader that I am a landlord with many, many rental properties and I am ALWAYS 100% occupied, year after year. That doesnt happen by being a bad landlord! There are strict parking policies enforced because there is limited parking for the tenants only. The 11 signs in the parking lot clearly indicate this permit only parking policy. It is always those that think they're above the lease rules that love the chance to post negatively about the landlord on the internet regardless of the truth!"

"It's an okay place to live. The apartments themselves aren't completely worth the higher price tag but the location is nice, and you won't have to worry about plowing or shoveling. In the winter, they sometimes will plow the lots. Very strict about parking. The maintenance crew is really helpful and they were quick to resolve furniture issues at the beginning of the semester. Disappointed that the price for renting keeps increasing, though. Also, laundry is expensive if you're coming from the dorms. It's $2 to dry and $2 to wash."

"DO NOT RENT HERE, OR FROM GAIL SANCHEZ. She is a terrible landlord who disrespects her tenants. She called me yelling she was going to tow my car even though I had a parking sticker and was a paying tenant. She wouldn’t believe me until I sent a photo of my registration!! She also entered my apartment without my permission or giving me a 24 hour notice (per tenant landlord act). Her reason? “It’s my property and I can enter whenever/do whatever I want.” COMPLETE disregard for private property laws. Rent was expensive when I lived here and it’s DEFINITELY not worth the higher cost now. The original owner, Steve Kinnunen, was a wonderful landlord - rent from him if you can."
