"These are the rudest employees you’ll ever encounter. We’ve been here two separate times and both times there’s been awful customer service. The first time we came, we asked about sizing my son for skates. You would have thought I asked the employee to hula hoop while doing a backflip. It was like pulling teeth to get help. This past weekend I attempted to get my sons skates sharpened here and decided to walk out. The man in the back awkwardly stared at me and then walked away after I said “hi, I have a question”. If you talk to other hockey parents they’ll tell you they are just cranky guys working there, but they are incredibly disrespectful and rude to customers. Customers just deal with it because there’s no other choice locally. Take your business to Pure Hockey in Novi. It’s worth the drive and much better customer service and selection."
"I went in to have me and my girlfriends skates sharpened and we went back to the desk and the guy continued to eat his food and yelled at us for ask a question. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced"
"Every one of these stores has the worst customer service. No personality and when you ask for a question you get very vague answers. The woman I had help me size my son for skates acted like it was the biggest hassle she’s ever encountered. Will never go back and would never recommend these stores to anyone."
"Had a very similar experience as another reviewer named Pamela. Took my skate in to have a couple rivots to be replaced. This was the first time I was in the shop and the employee who was working in the back that does the sharpening couldn't be bothered to be friendly or helpful. He sat on his stool in the back and didn't move a muscle except to continue eating and drink his two liter of diet coke. Finally asked if he could help me with my skate that needed the two new rivots and he takes one look then says that they are done and I need new ones. Asked him if he could replace them anyways and he looked like I asked him to walk on water. He eventually got to it and then I get charged 12 bucks... 12! 12 dollars for 2 rivot replacements is absolutely ridiculous. Most hockey shops charge about a dollar a rivot with a minimum cost of 5 bucks. I ended up going to another hockey shop and got my other skate fixed that needed 8 rivots... Guess how much? 8 bucks. At this place that would have been 48 dollars. Don't recommend getting your shakes fixed here. Go somewhere else to get better service and better prices."
