About Us
City Church Rockford is a vibrant place of worship located at 3233 10 Mile Road Northeast in Rockford, Michigan. Our institution is inspired by the biblical concept of being a "City on a Hill", called to bring the love and grace of God to our community in tangible ways. During our 9:30am and 11:15am services, we strive to pour out God's presence, grace, love, and power into the hurting areas of our city.
At City Church Rockford, we are a relaxed and welcoming community focused on building relationships with Jesus and each other. Whether you come dressed up or casual, you are welcome here. Our worship services are modern and passionate, with a focus on glorifying the Lord.
Join us for our services at 8am, 9:30am, and 11:15am, where you can expect authentic, relevant, and challenging teachings from scripture. Many of our members arrive early to secure a good seat and catch up with friends before the service begins.
In addition to our Sunday services, we also offer Wednesday youth gatherings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Come and experience the love and community of City Church Rockford as we grow closer to God and each other.

"Great praise and worship, and 65% of the time a good word, however, there have been a few instances where Pastor Doug has brought politics into the message, which is not appreciated. Opinions about politics should not be implemented into a sermon, ever, nor should clips from your favorite TV network be implemented into a sermon. We all have our own political views and opinions. I would think the church would be the last place to get one’s political opinion. Unless you are a politician, please keep political views to yourself, and not in your sermon. All said in love, but, I will not be attending any longer due to this issue. Let God direct our political views and opinions. Thank you."

"I have come to this church for as long as I can remember. It used to be res life and my Djah Djah and his best friend Tom ran rez life riders biker gang. We had Christmas parties and funerals. It’s very comforting there and I would love to be able to come back and see what all has changed!"
