"I was excited to watch a Griff's game and partake in a jersey giveaway... But then was severely let down by the lack of structure and organization of the crowd. We were here plenty early to ensure place for a jersey giveaway but as the doors opened I watched my place in line get diminished by people cutting through the crowd. Once through the doors there was zero structure to get the crowd through the gate in an orderly manner. I know it can be tough to appease a crowd in that manner but some line control gates and ropes would have gone a long way."

"It was a lot of fun we watched the Griffins game and they were down two to nothing but they came back to win It 4 to 2:00. I actually caught a t-shirt for once and my kids got coupons for rebounderz. It was $2 beer and hot dog night and then I paid $15 for a small pop and popcorn Parking was fifteen dollars and it cost $20 to get in. So around $100 for three people. We wore Red wings and fit right in with everyone there was a lot of Christmas outfits and a lot of Red wings and Griffins swag."

"I went to go see a rock concert with Skillet. They were amazing of course. We had VIP passes and I don't think that was handled by the arena very well at all. We never knew where we were supposed to go or what we were supposed to be doing. We had to run around and ask people what line was for what. The arena's method of communication to let everyone know what was going on was to have someone stand in front of a long line and yell. Anyone too far back to hear was very confused. 1 perk of the VIP passes was early access to merch. We got about ten minutes before another big group was brought up and it took forever to get someone to wait on us with so many people there. Later groups were getting served before us. Why pay for perks at that place?? I'm a bigger gal, my husband is a big over six foot guy, and the seats were too way too small. I've sat in other sections at this arena before and never had this problem. They should consider updating their seating so all the seats are more normal sizes. I didn't know there was a skinny people only section. Be prepared if you buy anything there that on top of your already pricey purchase they want you to tip the people who wait on you in every booth. Skillet was awesome, I've seen other performances there that were great, it's just this was the worst trip there I've had to date."

Whether they are playing great music, playing hilarious games, or, most importantly, just playing great Hockey you can never go wrong with a night (or day) out to a Griffin's game. A top notch organization in an awesome town! You do not have to love hockey to enjoy the Grand Rapids Griffin's!"
