"I've never climbed a dune and I'm not sure if it's on my list of doing again, but the view at the top is absolutely worth every lost breath."
"Hell of a hike uphill in sand isn't for everyone. The wife gave up before we got to the end. That being said, the views were amazing and I totally recommend. But this isn't a hike in the woods, this is exercise plan accordingly."
"Wow! What a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. I never knew the water was so blue. The hike was fairly easy. Walking through sand made it a little harder, but it was worth it."
"7 dunes to climb to get to Lake Michigan, and it was worth every step!!! Be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen if going anytime but wintertime!"
"So much fun! Didn't do the full hike, just the climb up a couple of dunes because not all of our group was doing the climb. Beautiful views! Quiet the pile of sand. I recommend stopping at the visitor center as your first stop when coming to the park because many of the other stations are not staffed to sell you the park pass, at least not on weekdays."
