Candy Land Daycare

"This facility lost my baby niece for 45 minutes! Her very concerned father drove around looking in all of the places they said she “could” be on a field trip that they never gave their parental consent for. Afterwards they yelled at and berated her father for being worried and concerned. No resolution or accountability on their part for losing her and pushed all of the blame onto the concerned parent. They also have no processes, procedures, or empathy for my nephew who is on the spectrum, again simply pushing the blame to the parents that are trusting them with their children. I was looking into this facility for my two toddlers, but I have too much love and care for their upbringing in this stage of their life. I would leave 0 stars if I could."

"The workers are pleasant enough, but we've had little issues here and there. The most prominent was aggression displayed by my son with Asperger's. He had never shown aggression at home or school, but upon his first summer at the center, had begun displaying aggressive behavior. His ABA therapist attributed this to overstimulation, lack of routine, etc. I do believe the daycare workers have good intentions, but are not well trained for children with this type of condition. Today they lost my daughter. Quite literally. When we went to pick her up at the scheduled time, no one could tell us where she was for sure, and she ended up coming back to the center 45 minutes after the scheduled time. During which time her father was extremely worried and upset, but was made to feel like the bad guy for getting upset. Their intentions are not bad, but there is a lack of training and organization."

"Wouldn't recommend this place just isn't it. The owner Andre pushes her own narrative on the children. Rather than trying to find a beneficial outcome to more difficult decisions she pushes her own experiences and ideals rather than actually listening to the child or the parent about what's actually going on. When faced with people who respectfully disagree with her on issues she would rather stonewall and terminate their contact that actually listen and find a solution. If you want someone who doesn't care a lick at all about your kid this place is fine. But I would much rather have my children around more understanding, compassionate people in the most important, formative times of their life."

"Best daycare hands down. I don't have to worry about a thing when my kids are at Candyland. My oldest son has been going here for about 3 almost 4 years and my youngest has been going there since he was six weeks old. They go above and beyond for the kids and the parents. They treat the kids and the parents like they are family. Wouldn't go anywhere else for daycare, the staff is amazing."

"We absolutely love CandyLand daycare. After searching for weeks through all the “popular” recommendations in town, we had almost given up at finding a place we were comfortable with. Sending our 1 year old daughter to daycare was very hard on our family, but Candy and Andrea (and all the other staff) made the transition so easy for us! They are pleasant just to talk with, flexible with the schedule, and always happy to help. We love them and won’t go anywhere else!"
