"Absolutely beaitiful place. Not a very long hike but I think it's my favorite hike I've been to in Michigan thus far. It's great! Not a lot of sand for "dunes"... its more like just a forest with a beach at the edge. i didn't mind though."
"This hike was great. The views and forest scenes are wonderful. It is posted as 2 miles but it is closer to over 3 if you do it all. Know that this is an intermediate hike with a lot of rugged trail and climbing. My friend accused me of taking them on a hike for Mountain goats. It is not something to do with a stroller. The stairs to the beach have washed out so no beach access. There is also a fair amount of poison ivy off trail, so stay on the trail and you're fine in that regard."
"Beautiful! ...Great hiking trail with both overlooks of Lake Michigan and beach access. Not too strenuous, but will get your heart rate up. Took my wife and I (with baby in tow) about 1.5 hours to do the loop and that includes several stops for pictures and to walk around on the beach."
