"This is absolutely nice spot to visit. We loved it and I can recommend it."
"What a wonderful place. The day I went the water was smooth, clear, and a wonderful blue. The lighthouse is super cute and well kept. If you have an hour to drive up from TC, hangout for a few minutes, and then head back I highly recommend it. If you can spare more time and want to take a nice drive with your windows down driving up to Lighthouse Park is so peaceful. All the orchards and wineries along the way right along the river is stunning. The Lighthouse Park has great parking but there aren’t very many spots so be careful what time you are arriving as parking may be hard. To get in to the Lighthouse museum and climb up and look out is $8 for adults."
"The park is on the far northern tip of the Old Mission Peninsula and it didn’t disappoint. While the lighthouse was closed the area is still very scenic. The beach was fun to explore and there were plenty of stones to look through in addition to the nice sand. It’s sad to see so many zebra mussel shells, but the water is crystal clear because of that. There was also a swing set on the beach that makes for a nice bit of fun."
"Visiting Mission Point Lighthouse with my son before the crowds begin. It was quiet, with only a few other visitors when we were there. There are a lot of mussel shells on the beach so be sure to bring shoes. The onsite log home was pretty neat too. I love the history of the area as well as the drive out to the lighthouse. The views and vineyards are spectacular!"
"The drive to the lighthouse was really pretty, even in the winter driving through the vineyards and cherry trees was really great. There was plenty of parking and lots of great little signs around the property explaining the history of the light house. The walk to the beach is short and we hiked a bit in the trails around the property. We’ll be back in the summer for sure. Worth the drive!"
