Reviews
"Very helpful community agency. Some employees could use some customer service and communication training to better serve people during there struggles with empathy."
"I used to work here. They have a lot of great programs helping the elderly, poor, and children. I worked in the meals on wheels program, their headstart program is wonderful, they offer food bank and utility help, social events for the elderly, and so much more. All the amazing employees here work hard to help our community and take their jobs seriously. Fantastic people providing fantastic services!"
"Best group of caring, motivated people around. If there is a way to help, they will find it. They care for our community from headstart classes to Senior services and more. Dedicated, caring staff that knows how to help. They should get 10 stars!!!"
"We get meals on wheels and the veteran representative has helped us to get into our home. Community Action has also help us pay our light bill to zero. I would recommend Community Action to those in need of help."
"They do not pickup their landline neither 800 telephone number. I have been attempting to get a wheelchair without any success. I got hit by an 80,000 lb. diesel tractor trailer rig Jct. I-69 & highway 60 overpass corridor across from the Tekon truck stop Dec. 1982. I was in a wheelchair thru Sept. 83. Now on account of all the ensuing years pushing 80 yo my injuries have exacerbated."
