"There’s parking and a nice nature center with kids’ craft area, taxidermies, outdoor amphitheater, bathrooms and connecting bike trials."
"Very good taxidermy and cool animals to see. I enjoyed the birds of the park and wildflowers of the park brochures."
"Cute little nature center where you can feed the chickadees straight from your hand in the winter. My son had an absolute blast - we went here three times in four days! Just be sure to bring your own bird seed."
"Great place we were even lucky enough to actually watch butterflies hatch out of their cocoons"
"I love this park. It is my number one summer vacation spot I refuse to miss. And the Nature Center is no small part of it! They have activities for kids all summer long, information about the plants, animals, and history of the park, and much to do! The staff is almost always very friendly and great to chat with, and go out of their way to make sure the kids are learning and having fun. In August they often have monarch chrysalis in their center, and as each butterfly emerges, they allow children to help take the brand new butterfly to their butterfly garden. My children look forward to this every year! This visit we arrived just as the center was closing, but that did not mean we didn't have a memorable visit! The forest ranger was locking up, but showed us that if we held birdseed out in our hands and stood very still, chickadees would land and eat. AND THEY DID!!! We had a wonderful time letting birds eat out of our hands, got great pictures, and loved it. For people who play Pokemon go, the internet reception in the whole park is spotty and poor, but there are many stops and gyms in Fish Creek, well worth the visit. Go here."
