"Best marina in Wisconsin if you’re looking to have a Yacht/Boat transported out of. I’ve been to a lot of marinas over the years, but this one can handle the Big ones! Bart (Travel lift operator) is as good as it gets. The whole team of guys at Bay Marine are great. They treated me as a local and I really appreciated it. Thank you to everyone that helped out and got me loaded up and on my way."
"Spent the night here last night. Very clean and well run marina. Staff was beyond great. Clean new bathrooms, great grills, very nice clubhouse. Full service marina. They sell some of the best brand of boats and I met with the sales staff, they are fantastic! I will do business with again for sure."
"I needed some repair parts for my sailboat. No one else I contacted could find what I needed. Some friends brought mer in to meet Greg, the Bay Marine Parts Manager. Within 15 minutes Greg had my parts ordered in overnight. When they arrived the next day I got a call immediately. They got me back on the water asap. Super service! Beautiful marina and great mechanical and storage services. I would keep my boat there."
"I used Bill Carlson as my buyers broker after I met him in Sept 2021 when I made an offer on a boat he had listed. That deal didn’t work out because of the seller. I was so impressed with Bill that I asked him to be my broker in search of a boat in Florida. We defined my parameters and the search began. We live in Florida so initially he searched out boats in Florida because that was my request. After looking at a number of boats and making offers on a couple that we were unsuccessful in closing any deals. Bill was extremely helpful in providing comps for similar boats were actually selling for. Many of the boats we looked at in Florida were overpriced and needed cosmetic improvements. Bill finally suggested we expand our search area and suggested a boat in North Carolina. He contacted the broker who had the boat listed and determined this boat was worth a closer examination and was exactly as portrayed in the listing. Bill submitted an offer for the boat without me seeing the boat subject to my inspection. To shorten the story with Bill’s help and professional expertise we purchased the boat and had it shipped to Florida. I had nothing but a great experience in dealing with Bill and have recommended him to several friends. He exceeded all my expectations of dealing with a broker. I am an experienced boater who has completed the Great Loop and own another large boat on Lake Michigan. I don’t feel you could find a better, more competent, and professional boat broker."
"Please be warned if you are selling/purchasing a boat do not use Bill Carlson as a broker. He provided horrible customer service and clearly we were not a priority because the 140,000 we were spending wasn’t enough. He wasn’t even present for survey. Agreed to charter the boat to Sturgeon a bay and then didn’t even connect to shore power correctly. Upon arrival to the boat for pick up he again wasn’t present and arrived on his time after we were left to find our own way to the locked/gated marina. The other employee present actually stated to us when trying troubleshoot the shore power he stated “I don’t know boats that well”. Great service for a marina. Then after getting the boat home we received a call from Bay Marine that we had a fuel bill since Bill had tanks filled up as he viewed the gauge on empty. Yet it only took 65 gallons to fill the 286 gallon tank. We never authorized a fuel fill as well but they did it anyway. Just an absolute horrible experience in buying what we see as a very expensive and exciting purchase. Kelsey was absolutely wonderful to communicate with and she should be a broker. Be warned and shop elsewhere!"
