"A giant loon with a box that lets you listen to its calls? Check. Another "World's Somethingest Something" to add to our list, lol. This one is the "World's Largest Talking Loon." This was a really nice day for a visit. It made for some great pictures. The area is beautiful. There's a small parking lot adjacent to Claire d' Loon with a building that has information, but it was closed when we were there. Worth visiting at least once, this is a great place to stop and snap a photo. Be sure to give a listen to the various loon calls while you're here. There are a few Pokestops and a gym here."

"This is, in fact, a giant loon. Also, there's a small building right by the loon that has a bunch of brochures for local attractions, events, etc. Very useful."

"A fun little side stop. Google maps may try to redirect you much, much further south to the Mercer there. Claire d'Loon is easily visible from hwy 51. If you're heading south, she'll be on the left. Only three of the four loon casks were working when we arrived."
