"First off I go to alot of thrift stores but my Dad warned me not to go to this location but I was curious…well, he was right. I found an item I was looking for but the price was retail, I asked the cashier “is there anything you can do on this”…and got a nasty “what do yo mean is there anything I can do on it!?”…”I mean could you take a dollar off?…I can get this new online for the same price…”I can’t change prices, only a manager can do that”…”Ok, is there a manager?”…Manager comes all the way up front to tell me no they can’t even take a dollar off…I mean w/ the time invested on both our parts and you can’t give me a dollar off? I mean I just wanted to feel like I didn’t pay retail for a used item and I didn’t think Salvation Army was a retail store…isn’t that the point?…to get second hand items for less than what they cost new?…all other locations have been kind and reasonable, and yes…they will usually give discounts on flawed or worn out and/ or not working items. But not this store…be forewarned, they can get nasty."

"So the kid working the donation station out back made me unload my own car! Right in front of the sign that says "please remain in you car".I'm almost 70 years old and he just stood there with his arms outstretched. Maybe 18 years old and he couldn't bend over to take the stuff out of my back seat. World, you in TROUBLE!"

"The older slender man in the back accepting donations needs to be a little less rude. When I asked him if they accepted a working flat screen monitor he literally looked at me and didn’t reply, grabbed the monitor and told me I parked wrong. I had over $1000.00 of clothing with the tags still on and told him sorry for parking wrong and he still didn’t reply lol. There was no one in line this whole time. Does he not realize that his paycheck is based on donations?? That man needs to at least learn how to say thank you or goodbye or maybe find a job doesn’t make him so miserable. Geez!"
