Reviews of Red Run Park
"It's ok for a neighborhood park. We come and park along the street because there used to be a sand area but now it's overgrown and has no toys like it used to so we probably won't be back. No paths, no bathrooms, and the big kid swings and the big kid play structure are strangely far apart (the toddler play area is in between). We do like riding the dinosaur and the little piano-style toy under the toddler play set, though."
"It's a pretty good playground for the kids. This is just a warning though, I walk my dogs here nightly and a week ago my terrier got skunked in the face. I went back a few days later and have seen skunks no joke every night. Usually they are sorta on the backside of the playground or the tennis courts but a few times they've been right up against the sidewalk. JUST BE AWARE"
"This is a really cool park with three play areas and a lot of green grass to run around. There's some toys hanging about for kids to play and some music to play under one of the slides. The sign notes this park as accessible, but I don't think it is. There's one path that leads to the top of one of the play areas, but there's no slides or activities that are accessible otherwise. The floor is made of wood chips instead of rubber. And the accessible swing is on an island that has no path leading to it and wood chips surrounding it. It's muddy in the grass. If they replaced the wood chips with rubber and added paths that travel across each play area, I think it would make it much more inclusive."
"I have always loved this park! I went here as a kid, and now my son gets to play here as well!"
"This is a great place to bring your dog, bring kids to the playground and is very fun popular for baseball and soccer during the school year. They have a basketball court and a tennis court as well."
