"I’m finishing up a 6 week wheel throwing course and have been incredibly happy with the experience. I went from knowing nothing about pottery to throwing bowls, mugs, and even vases! + Fantastic teachers and small class sizes + Very generous studio time outside of class to practice. This is perhaps the most important aspect for learners. Being able to spend time at the studio to practice is invaluable. + My instructor, Mara, has been a great teacher and has immensely built my confidence as a novice potter. Her explanations and demonstrations are incredible and tailored to all students. Cannot reccomend her enough!"

"This place wasreally neat. Was looking for something to do with my 10 yr old son during break...after the holidays. This place popped up on "Little Guide Detroit"...my go to every wknd for family activities. It was intriguing and offered walk ins so we made the trek from St Clair Shores and we were not disapointed! They offer a few types of art work to work on...mosaics, glass fusion and painting poetry. (They also offer pottery classes to make your own, but requires an appointment). We chose to make gifts for my wife and painted a few pottery items. They have tables set up all over the studio, an entire wall of paint and 2 walls (and shelves in the middle) of various pottery items. You paint them up how ever you want, and then you turn them in to kiln fire and set the paint. The staff was friendly and help to two novices who aren't very artsy and they made us comfortable and gave us confidence. I can't wait to see the finished products (in a week). We will definitely come back and try the glass fusion and will also sign up for pottery classes. This place is a gem!"

"This place is awesome! Located in Royal Oak, Mi. If you’re looking for something different to do. This is perfect. Perfect for kids, a date, family outing, the elderly, date night or a solo trip. Painting is very therapeutic and can be a stress reliever. You pick your item to paint off one of the tables or shelves. Whatever price that’s on it that’s what you pay for. Item prices range from $13-$200. It’s also a studio fee. They have plenty of colors to choose from. They offer walk in projects wish include pottery painting, mosaics and glass fusing. They also have appointment only projects. Which include canvas painting, wheel throwing and wood board pallet painting. They also have a party room you can rent. Although they do take walk-ins. It’s small inside so it’s best to make reservations. You have to leave your item and pick it up in 2 weeks. Because it has to be set. They have Art Kits To Go that can be delivered or you can do Curbside Pickup. They are open Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm. Saturday: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm and Sunday: 12:00 – 6:00 pm."
