"The management is second to none! The rooms were spotless and beds were comfortable. Very reasonably priced. No breakfast onsite, but coffee, breakfast bars, frig and microwave. Ashland has great eating establishments so breakfast “out” was quite enjoyable! It is evident the people of Ashland take great pride in their community."

"We were on our way back to Michigan from Grand Canyon and needed a room. The Lakeside was SPOTLESS and very comfortable. Loved that it had air conditioning and a ceiling fan too. Manager was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful lake superior view from across the road. Loved this place!"

"I stayed in this motel on 6/3/2022 and was pleasantly surprised, I only needed a bed to sleep in while traveling for the night. The room was super clean and cozy. The pillows were placed on the bed like you would see on a magazine cover and the towels were shaped or folded like sea shells, it was so adorable! They took time making sure the room was spotless, and stocked with different flavors of coffee and snacks. This is something I have never experienced in any motel and oh the cost to stay was reasonable. Customer service was incredible, being a single female traveling I felt very comfortable staying here and will highly recommend. I hope to get a chance to stay here again."
