"I’ve seen Tri-Pups work a lot in my neighborhood and have always heard great things about them. Through word of mouth, I decided to have them install and grout my very precious Pewabic address plate on the exterior of my home (I was too nervous to do it myself!). I can’t thank them enough for their care and attention to detail. They showed up and had the job done in a timely manner. While this was a small job, I would definitely use them for bigger projects. Highly recommend!"
"After my experience I feel I need to let others know of the experience we had and to be aware. This place seems to have good reviews so I don’t understand why we got treated so poorly. The lady on the phone was even nice and seemed helpful. After dealing with one nightmare contractor we needed some help getting our tiled shower floor back in order so we called for a quote. The man who came over to give us a quote had a really bad attitude. Like he just didn’t want to be there from the start - he seemed like he was in a really bad mood. Then I get a text a day or two later that it will be close to $10,000 to pull the tile out from the floor and part of the way up the wall a couple of feet. Keep in mind, this is not a huge shower and the house is newer so there wasn’t any damage or leaking water so there is no way this job should have costed this much. It was simply just pulling tile up, putting a new liner in and then putting the tile back down. It was not even the entire shower! That quote just seemed astronomical to me especially since most of the other quotes I got were half or less than the price he quoted. I got the feeling they just didn’t want the project and if that’s the case just tell me and I could have found someone else instead of quoting me a price that should be for much more work like a remodel of the bathroom. Needless to say, we found someone else who did a great job for us who was licensed as well and did the job for much closer to what we expected to pay. I wouldn’t recommend this place because of shady business practices like this. If you don’t want the job just tell someone instead of treating us poorly."
"Tri-Pups has taken care of us over the last few years and given us a nice driveway gate so we could keep our dog safe! And they helped us with a broken dimmer switch & new lighting install in our living room. They are straight forward and to the point when it comes to the work they can do, available resources for supplies, and timing it will take to accomplish the job. I have truly enjoyed working with Debbie, Chris, and Ted they are down to Earth and easy to chat with about things I may or may not have experience with in home maintenance/updates (e.g. Electrical, Fencing/Gate). Thank you for the quick turn-around and helping us meet our needs in our little home, we couldn't have done it without ya!"
"One extra star since they can tear out, albeit a high cost. Cost me $1040 for tear out and install. First pic is post-tear out, rest after install. No floor fill with anything but bare wood planks. Did not make them flush with sides of cabinets to fill otherwise. Cut most of the back of sink base out on 3 sides (without consulting me) to fit old pipes (which are going to be removed/replaced) leaving space for things to fall thru/under. Their solution to fill gaps otherwise is just spray foam. Toe kick haphazardly/unevenly attached (last pic) leaving gaps. After I called countertop installer to place on hold to wait for corrections, TriPups declined to return, citing other customers who 'rightfully had more claim to time' than me. Guess they should blame themselves for overbooking. IF you want your project to look THIS good, go ahead and hire them (at your own risk). ALSO - NO MASKS, no offer or question to wear them in my unvaccinated mother's house."
"We have used Tri-Pups several times for a range of jobs. Every time, Chris does an exceptional job, is reasonably priced and is completely trustworthy. He has come out on short notice for urgent repairs and during the only job that was bigger than anticipated, he communicated about what he had found, how it needed to be repaired, and kept the billing very fair. I will continue to call Tri-Pups!"
