"Really nice well.kept park. Large open spaces, playgrounds, and covered pocknic area. The bathrooms are also clean and well kept. Overall just a nice park."

"If someone tells you to take a hike, pack a lunch a go here! Nice pavilion, great paved and wood-chipped trails to hike. Can go to Bishops big (5 stars) or if your feeling froggy (or have a bike) to Elison nature reserve (5 stars). And once your done hiking the trails enjoy the green grass or the small playground."

"I have always loved this park. Really disappointed in the floating docks that no longer float… I hope it’s for good reason because it has completely ruined the enjoyment of the walk for the rest of us."

"Get ready to have a wet adventure walking the bog trail. But it’s real fun. And the walk through the woods is peaceful and relaxing. Definitely a hike worth taking."

"My favorite park in Portage. Its never busy even on holidays. There are miles of well kept trails in the adjoining woods. They have a new playground. I've been coming to this park for 20 years."
