"Embarrassing, the amount of garbage on the floor and outside the entrance was a clear representation of the type of joke this Location is, the pic was barely an example of all the garbage near the parking lot especially by the curbside pickup. Management is a joke here so is staff….looks like the side of the expressway near our west lol and the employees just chill on there phone waiting for a curbside customer to park, anyways this target let itself go recently. I hope at least one manager reads this review so they can realize that they themselves are a joke."
"I rarely go to this Target. But the Cars section did improve a lot!"
"Went to return a dish drainer I purchased on line to the store. Help in both the returns and the cashier were friendly & helpful. They were even cleaning their area when not busy."
"I went to this store today and was checking out in self check out. One of the women who works there came up to me while I was searching for my card to pay. Looked at my total and said it wasn’t enough, then took my bags and told me I rang something up wrong and that she would need to re-ring my stuff. Mind you, I had already spent over $200 at another Target an hour ago and had a $10 credit which applied once I put my phone number in. I asked her why would she just grab my stuff? Then asked her to show me on the self check out screen what it was she was talking about. She didn’t respond. She just walked over to a register and emptied my stuff out to ring it up. Loss prevention stood there and did nothing. The manager did nothing when I went to tell him either. I walked away and went and bought my items at another store. The whole ordeal was unacceptable. This Target won’t get a dime from me again."
"The customer service chick that was helping me and security guard were being hella weird, almost borderline discriminatory/racist towards me!! They basically was accusing me of trying to return a bad speaker because the Boom 3 speaker I literally just purchased minutes before going to customer service to exchange and upgrade to a JBL speaker, which cost more by the way; apparently, the serial number on the Boom 3 speaker didn’t match the box. So they trying to deny me the return! It made me feel extremely disappointed, and the customer service chick just immediately went into the judgemental mindset, never apologize for her and the security guard mistake, never reassured me that they just needed to make sure everything was good and no one apologize for any inconvenience, just automatically treated me like a criminal! It didn’t make any sense because I literally stood in electronics and opened up the box to test the sound after I purchased it, but it was a newer employee there, after the lady checked me out, and he suggested that the JBL was better, so he grab one for me, walked me to customer service, pointed me out to the service employee, but a different person came to help, so it complicated everything. Luckily everything did turn out fine but I beyond don’t appreciate that. I may never shop at the Oak Lawn Target Store again! Very unfortunate unpleasant experience! AND the chick that was helping me, got an attitude with me!! And I do not appreciate her ignorance and negative energy and assuming and accusing me of false allegation!! I really deserve an apology and $100 Target gift card!! Overall, the two employees from electronics were cool and great! The one other employee I asked a question, because I felt beyond uncomfortable to even walk the store and go back to electronics to test out the JBL radio; I asked if I could go back there, she was nice! But overall, the fact the customer service chick and security guard/cop made me feel like a criminal and I felt so uncomfortable to even walk back through the store, I am completely hurt! You will probably never see me there again! Which I’m sure that was the goal to make someone like me feel :-( I need $100 Gift Card!!"
