About Us
Central Park, located at 7810 Shaver Road in Portage, Michigan, is a beautiful park and tourist attraction hidden along Portage Creek. The park features a shelter and playground perfect for picnics, as well as a peaceful walkway along the creek leading to an overlook bridge. In the summer, visitors can enjoy concerts at the Overlander Bandshell. Pets are welcome in most areas of the park, as long as they are on a leash and their owners clean up after them. The park has a strict cancellation policy, with refunds varying depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made. "Very cute little park. They have a small bridge where you can see the creek running through. Very quiet and right next to the police station."
"It's a very small compact, cozy, nice, intimate park where u can take ur lil ones to and enjoy watching them play on the playground without a big crowd. Being an even bigger plus is that it's behind the police station so ur a lil bit more on safety grounds from any possible predators. For those who have barking dogs, it's also a more secluded area for less distractions with walking them and getting some fresh air."
