"Basic lumber yard Dimension lumber and plywood/ OSB onsite. They can order most anything though"
"If everything goes well I get 90% of my orders for lumber correctly delivered to job sites. Thanks to the yard crew! You Rock"
"Zeeland Lumbar is more concerned about profits and company image than product, resulting in failure to deliver walls, doors, and windows on time. Not to mention the countless amounts of jobs sent back due to major errors. DO NOT use this company. wasting your money and your time. I do dear hope zeeland can save itself. After losing 2nd panel shift, and then losing 90% of 1st panel shift.. It’s not looking too good.. or safe."
"Im giving zeeland a temporary 2 star rating! Im a professional carpenter/builder with a builder license 17 yrs experience. Well I contacted these guys about a 1/2 yr ago and decided to hold off writing my review to reflect on what went down. This truss package was going to be for my own personal project, and I wanted to use engineered wood trusses for Everything on my ranch house! Well these guys Modo was If I could think it they could design/build it. Well they fell massively short, because they couldn't figure a way to use engineered trusses for the hip roof on the main part of the house. Im not going to say zeeland didnt try, because I 100% do believe they did try.(Thats why they got 2 stars) But its like they just fell short on engineering experience/field experience, or thinking outside the box, past what the computer program says is possible! I asked them numerous questions for a solution, uttering nothing was set in stone, and im willing to take suggestions. I was willing to change dimensions slightly, move walls and make them load bearing, etc. But it was like they suddenly got a brain fart stuck and couldnt think or anything. For some ungodly reason they kept trying to push Conventional trusses on me as the only solution. All of my building skills/knowledge/experience said it was 100% do-able. I found 4 other out of state truss companies that I gave the same information too, give me a finished quote/ finish design. They came up with the same ideas I had to make the job doable, without me saying uttering a single word. Regardless, the truss price package was insanely high due to it being out of state and unaffordable for me, so im back to square 1. Ive decided to try changing the dimensions of the house to hopefully make the design more doable for zeeland or another truss company in Michigan! Give these companies 1 more shot! I really do wish the zeeland company didnt just roll over and go by what the computer says as the end all be all. They should have knowledgeable experienced staff that worked in the trade employed that should be able to come up with out of the box solutions."
"Tony Walker is the manager, and he is the man! Went above and beyond to take care of an issue for me. I own and operate a framing company and plan on giving them more of my business based solely on the service today. Thank you Tony."
