"Nice quiet park with wooded trails, Buck creek w/bridge, restrooms, picnic area with public grills and picnic tables. Also has a Golf course. Palmer Park is a dog friendly park. Please keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after them."
"Great place for cross country skiing! Just gorgeous. Check website to make sure trails are groomed and clubhouse is open. Day use is just $2 and they have gear rental and snacks! The park has 3 loops, all of which are about 2 miles. Easy/moderate. Note that in the winter, you enter off Clyde Park. (Google maps might direct you elsewhere.) Follow signs for the golf course."
"Best place to cross country ski in the winter (especially when the trails are groomed). Always peaceful and quiet. In the summer, the trails are great for walking or running. The woods are full of wildlife like raccoons, deer, turkeys, squirrels, and a great variety of birds. The main parking area can have some sketchy figures occasionally, but other than that it’s a nice place to hike."
