"Truck #4A was delivering to the medical office we needed to go to, and was parked across EVERY handicapped spot. The driver told me that they are legally allowed to do this. He also told me that “I don’t look handicapped”. Um, how exactly is a handicapped person supposed to “look”? How insensitive, rude, judgmental, and highly unprofessional when you are representing a company that pays you to present their business in a professional manner. Whether I personally am handicapped or not, they should have a little common sense and be aware that at a doctor office, people just might need a handicapped parking place. And NEVER judge someone as handicapped or not based solely on the fact that they are walking. Dave Custer at the business assured me that this is not behavior that is promoted within the company. I hope that the delivery persons are educated a little about judging people by their looks and abilities, and things NOT to say to strangers you know nothing about. May God bless them to try harder and be respectful to all, for you never really know who you’re talking to."
