"My family of 20 go every year to celebrate my grandparents anniversary and we’ve gone for as long as I remember. It’s got so many memories and hopefully we’ll keep going for years ahead!!! We love it, perfect spot close to Hagar shores and St. Joseph!! Beautiful clean pool and clean rooms, no wifi but great signal and nostalgic perfect setting. Love this place forever"

"Beds are really uncomfortable at best, for the price they charge I would expect at least the mattresses to not be 50 years old, instead they were coils that were bowed to the center, so sleeping more than 1 person on the full sizes meant 2 people would be colliding in the middle. The rooms are more reminding of a very cheap hostel that has not been touched since it was build, than of an actual hotel room. Paint is old and peeling (pretty sure there is lead based paint in the walls, so peeling is a big nono), bathrooms floor tiles were lifting when you walked on them, at least in 2 rooms, didn't check the rest. The AC units are very old, 2 of them had a very noticeable clicking noise that never went away, another one was either OH GOD IS FREEZING or YOU ARE DINNING IN A HUMID OVEN, no middle of the road. Toilet paper provided is the thinnest material known to man, I had to go and buy a decent roll because it failed literally every time you tried to use it to wipe."

"We go every year for 3-5 days...it’s so relaxing and very comfy! Little dated, but their upgrading rooms when they can! The beach is down the road and if you don’t like the sand, there’s a great pool! It’s a wonderful retreat!"

"My family and I rented this place for a week. We had a group of 22 I our group. There are 5 units. Some are bigger than others with 4 beds and a galley kitchen. Some are are one room with a coffee maker and microwave. There is a fairly large back yard, a large fenced in inground pool, fire pit, and a large porch that spans the suites for cover from the weather. The property is situated close to Michigan 63 for quick access to benton harbor or st. Joesph. There is also a small park nearby with access to the beach. It's within walking distance but requires crossing M63 and a long stair case down, so it's better to drive. The accommodations are very vintage and show their age, but everything works. The beds were clean and some linens provided. There are window air-conditioners for the bedrooms. There is a washer for washing towels only and a clothesline to hang them on if you need extra towels Pros: accommodations for a large group Large pool Room outside for activities Cons: Dated/used looking facility (not in disrepair) No central air (some days were really hot in June) Slightly inconvient beach access Overall: great for a place to retreat to after a long day and sleep"
