"It’s my 17th birthday, and we came to Petoskey to shop. When we entered the store, the lady who greeted us was very welcoming and kind. I wasn’t told her name/I forgot, but she had an English accent (I think) and she was one of the kindest people I have met. She found out it was my birthday, and gave me a small vinegar for free, a ‘birthday’ gift per se. Loved my experience here, and will definitely be going back."
"I was on the hunt for a new balsamic and thought I'd try here. My current balsamic is a 15 year aged balsamic but super thick. The one here was really thin and very vinegar forward. They had lots of flavors, too. While I didn't get a balsamic, I did find pyramid flaky salt, so I got that! I can't wait to use it on some baked goods."
"I had a really good experience here. I'm pretty new to cooking; just about 3 years under my belt of analog chefing. A young woman named Jaimie was a great help. She also pointed out to me that you don't have to buy all the bottles at once to get the 12fth one free. It's like a punch card, where as you purchase bottles over time, they keep count and once you've totalled 11, you get a free medium sized bottle. Not bad. Thanks Jaime. And thanks fustini UPDATE: When I was in Fustini's, their representative, Jamie, was telling me all sorts of stuff. I've had a day to look up her ramblings and it turns out there's tons of health benefits from using very fresh olive oil, and according to the dates on the bottles I purchased, these oils are SUPER FRESH! I guess the fustis (polished metal containers) keep the oil very fresh and prevent oxidation. Look, you should ask Jaime about the specifics. I'm just a knuckle head on the internet, but good oil is a big thing, alright. Check it out"
"One of my favorite Petoskey stops! Charlene and her crew are fun, friendly, and personable. It's always an enjoyable experience, and they have great recommendations for food pairings. They definitely know their stuff. Keep up the good work, ladies!"
