"I like the variety of the selections the place offers - everything from frozen foods, fresh veggies, sauces, live seafood to kitchenware, and items from other Asian countries. I come here for all my hotpot needs, veggies, kitchenware and the live seafood they offer - especially lobsters and blue crabs. Now, the smell can get to you and put off the experience. It took me some time to get used too and thankfully it's not as potent as it used to be. At one point, they used to sell live frogs and turtles too :) I wish they would put the blue crabs on ice, but it's not. I only buy seafood items during the winter time and the temp has to be 20 or below outside. I bought mussels once, no more.... came home, threw the dead ones out, but the others still had strong smell even after you cooked them. Favorite spot is the produce section and frozen dumpling area :)"

"Owners won't turn the heat on during the winter time. The male stockers will harass you and make you put the item in the same place you find them if you don't buy it. But won't help with finding products. The women at the register was only nice. PRICES are OK but not cheap either."

"Love this place. Has a very unique smell. (Fresh raw fish and sea food maybe part of it) Really good food in there though. Love the flavored ginger candies, Ramen noodles so many flavors to choose from."

"Good Asian grocery store in Ypsilanti! Located next to a Chinese buffet restaurant. They sell all sorts of food, snacks, candies, spices, frozen food, meat, seafood, produce (fruits, vegetables), to some household items and cooking equipment (wok, etc). Plenty of parking available."

"Some key notes here: Yes, the store does have a smell to it that drastically varies between isles lol. HOWEVER. They have a pretty good selection of "a little bit of everything" if you will. The tea isle was extremely well stocked and a wide variety. Produce, sauces, hot pot mixes/seasoning and the frozen section are the same. A large variety Its worth visiting and spending some time in and seeing what all they have. They also have major bulk items such as rice. Ranging from several pound bags all the way to 50 pound bags. Alcohol is also sold here. There was also a decent variety of cooking ware ranging from at home items (woks, bamboo steamers, ect) all the way up to hardware met for large kitchen such as restaurants/commercial sizes kitchens."
