"I would have rated them higher because in the past, they had serviced my car timely. However, this time, I left unhappy. I have a 2023 Sorento Prestige LIne. This was not a cheap car. I have less than 13,000 miles on it (it has a 100,000 mile warranty), The radio, the USB charging ports, and Bluetooth stopped working. I took it in, and they told me that it needed a software update in order for those things to work again and that I would need to pay for it! Pay for an update to make systems in the car function? I also reminded them that the vehicle is on warranty and that I shouldn't have to pay for anything. They reported that it would most likely happen again and that I should buy a USB stick with a large memory so that I could do the updates myself. However, they explained that the update takes 5+ hours! This is ridiculous! I will never purchase a Kia again. I was informed that Kia is aware of this problem and doing nothing for owners. At least the dealer should be concerned enough to help with this cost. If this occurs again, I am trading it in for a Toyota or Subaru. These manufacturers back their cars."
