"I booked an app at the close of the year for the holidays for a specific service. Well, I didn't get the service, so I posted a requested review stating how long my appointment was and how I did not receive the service I had requested. Mind you this is not the first or second time I have booked something and not received what I booked and put a 50% deposit down for, and I tipped. The review must have left a contemptuous taste in the owner’s mouth because they blocked me from making future appointments. Completely unprofessional! A call or text would have been an appropriate action to share any concerns about my review. I even called to confirm whether or not my account had been flagged, and it was, with no explanation in the notes, according to the person who answered the phone. No worries, I don't spend my money where it's not wanted, or I am not valued. Upon looking back at the reviews of other patrons, I see ignoring the paid services a customer booked and made a deposit on is not unusual."

"Anna always does an amazing job on my nails and brows. All the staff is super nice and professional, I love the online booking system it makes setting up an appointment super easy. The salon aesthetic/atmosphere is also amazing. Highly recommend!"

"I’m not someone to ever leave a review, but it’s necessary for this place. Seeing some negative reviews makes me think some of y’all are CRAZY. I have lived in two states and have been getting my nails done for five years. Nail gloss is by far the best salon I have ever been to. They are clean, professional, and provide an environment where I can relax and thoroughly enjoy getting my nails done. You pay for the absolute quality and expertise they put forth to every single client. They care about each clients nails, what they want for them, and the best way to accomplish what is wanted. They are constantly upping their game with their techniques. Before I moved out of the state I faithfully went to Anna, the greatest nail technician I have ever seen. She is the actual QUEEN of nails. Every time I go back to Michigan I make sure I put aside a day to go get my nails done by her. I cannot even begin to express how fantastic this woman is. YES, for new clients they require a down payment. That is because in this day and age people easily blow off appointments of luxury such as nail appointments. But they need to realize that nail technician‘s time is valuable, and they strive to provide the best service possible. It is worth every penny and then some to guarantee an appointment at this salon and to assure these technicians that you will show up to an appointment so they can amaze you with their quality of work. A salon of such top tier quality deserves recognition. I will go to my grave saying this is the greatest nail salon I have ever been to, with the greatest nail techs I have encountered. I know I will leave amazed every single time and my nails will last five plus weeks, easily. If you live in Macomb county and chose any other salon, I suggest going to nail gloss.
