"This place is great. Knowledgeable mechanic(the owner) answers the phone, lets you bring your own parts, doesn’t charge an arm and leg for labor. I called 10 autocare places looking for someone who would let me bring my own parts to make it cheaper, and I needed a quote for some work I needed done. I found that many places had sales associates answering their phones. They were very good at explaining why I could not bring my own parts. I had one place tell me that they weren't even willing to do any work on the car without a paid inspection completed at their facility. I already had a current inspection, which is why I was shopping for a good mechanic. My quote here was also thousands(It needed a lot of work) of dollars cheaper than everyone else around me."

"Fuel delivery problem with my fuel pump. Gave me a fair quote( right in the middle of 2 other shops quotes), replaced the pump and fell $5 less. I found my new " GO TO "shop"

"This review is a long time coming! I have been going to N & N for almost 20 years. I have always owned used cars and found this auto service when I worked in Madison Heights (and they were at old location on 13 1/2 and Dequindre). I love Nabil!! He treats patrons as family. He is the most honest mechanic EVER!! Prices are very reasonable. My entire family (husband, mother, brother, sister, father, uncle) and friends have used him. I brought a car to him years ago before I bought it for his lookover/approval before purchasing. Lifetime referral!!"

"I went here as my car had some rattling issues. Mr. Nabil was honest, had great pricing, and quickly fixed the issue. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Best mechanic around."

"Went to N&N for a radiator and timing belt replacement. Everything seemed to have gone well until my next oil change after the repair. The oil change mechanics indicated that the water pump on my vehicle was leaking. N&N did not catch this during the radiator replacement, which meant they did not pressurize the coolant system to check for leaks after the radiator replacement, a check that would likely have caught the water pump leak. This mistake is additionally egregious as usually the water pump and timing belt are replaced together. When I later had the water pump replaced, the mechanic also discovered that the timing belt was incorrectly installed—misaligned by one tooth. In the short run this misalignment was not significant enough to cause a check engine light but over a few years it almost certainly would have. In short, both parts of my $1k+ repair were incorrectly performed. I certainly would not recommend this shop for major repairs."
