Polish Nail Bar

"My pregnant wife went in this place yesterday 12/18/2023 and got the gel nail polish on her toes she is 9 months pregnant so she can not reach her feet. That is the only reason she came in. most of the polish has already came off. This is unacceptable and a full refund should be given."

"Unhappy and won’t go back. I have visited this nail salon a couple of times over the last couple of years and every time I am just disappointed. This time around I got a full set with a ombré manicure. When I showed her what I wanted done she said that she couldn’t do it in pink but could in nude I said that’s fine then suddenly she found product to do it in pink. At first look it looked great she even took pictures. Then I noticed that one thumb nail was wider than the other. Which is odd. I don’t believe my nail beds are a different size. And it’s only been a little over a week and they are already pulling up.there was a lot of commotion at the bar friends coming in which ok it’s just not a relaxing atmosphere like I think it should be. The lady at desk was pleasant but the nail tech I had hardly spoke 10 words to me."

"It takes me a lot to write a review, but I have decided to because at no time did the Manager/Owner apologize nor attempt to rectify the situation. My first visit for a shellac polish/pedicure was a debacle. The nail tech was really sweet, but could not understand my requests. She ended up cutting my toenails extremely short and then filing them all different, funky shapes. The polish was up on my toenail cuticles once finished. On to the nail shellac part. I only wanted shellac polish and she started doing a manicure. I didn't have time for a manicure, but again she couldn't understand me and vice versa. Once she finally started the shellac, it wasn't the correct color and I had to eventually communicate this to another nail tech. I was told "It's the right color but the bottle must be low or old." She insisted on adding more coats of it to try and make it match. Three additional coats later, it still didn't match. This is shellac, it must be soaked off to start over again and I did not have the time. Once again, polish all over my cuticles. Nails and toenails both looked awful. I quietly asked to speak with the Manager about my dissatisfaction and she was clearly irritated with me, the customer. In the end, another nail tech attempted to correct the situation and she did her best to make it look decent. I do appreciate her efforts. I ended up being there for approximately 2.5 hours for a routine shellac and pedicure (which takes about an hour). I had to rearrange my afternoon schedule while the poor quality work was being corrected. The best part, I was charged full price PLUS for a manicure service that I did not request. And my nails... (because so many shellac coats + a top coat was applied) peeled within a week. Moral of the story: IF you try this salon be very particular with your nail technician. To be fair, I do believe there are some good techs there as a few of my friends have been there with no issues. To the Manager: customer service is critically important. Mistakes happen, but how you handle those mistakes is what leaves the lasting impression on your customers."

"I wish I knew the name of the girl that did my nails, I went in to get them done for my wedding and I was not disappointed. They were gorgeous. Service was friendly and the bar was clean"

"The best of the best! Since going to Polish in Lake Orion for dip manicures my nails have never looked better. I didn't think I'd ever be the type to get my nails done on a regular basis. But here I am, calling polish bar every 2 weeks no fail to make an appointment with Cam.The salon is clean, my nails always look great, and the staff treats me like family. If you want a salon who remembers your name and nail color, this is it. I won't go any other place. I always call ahead to get a spot--they are the busiest nail salon in town for a reason. Thank me later!!"
