"If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been going to this office for about 5 years. Over the last year, the bottom has fallen out here. Over the last 9 months, they have called me the day before my appointment and cancelled me twice. When my appointment was rescheduled, it was scheduled for another 3 months out. I was without a cleaning for about a year. My orthodontist and her assistant resorted to cleaning up my teeth as best they could with their instruments during my visits there. Today, I showed up for my standard teeth cleaning, and was told that I needed to have x-rays. I told the person attending that I did not have time and that my scheduled appointment was for a cleaning. She indicate that she had to procced with xrays, and I told her that I did not have time and waived them. She proceeded to tell me that they were legally obligated to take xrays, which is a lie. There is no mandated xrays in the state of Michigan. I informed her that I would be leaving, and she told me that she was going to bill me $50 for the visit. I told her that was unacceptable after being cancelled twice and being denied this cleaning. After a year of being cancelled twice and being lied to by this person. I have now missed a year of cleanings because of these people. I will not being going back. Save your time and your money by finding another office. If Huron Dental reads this, I want you to know that I am appalled by your mistreatment of me over the last year. Your service has fallen below the standard of what is acceptable to me, and I will no longer seek service at your establishment. In fact, after the second time that you cancelled my appointment, I should have exited your practice then."

Dr R examined the tooth, showed me the xray and thoroughly explained the problem and what my various options were. She is thoughtful, clear and collaborative in her patient education. Staff then made sure I was scheduled for followup with an oral surgeon. I am grateful for this very caring and professional team at Huron Dental Center."
