"Everyone knows Home Depot has all your homeowners needs and definitely the same with contractors. I truly feel they know how to make a mega hardware done right. Yes it's not your old mom and pops place but they also have a full stock of lumber and building materials. I stopped in to get salt before a winter blast coming through. They had pallets on the read and shovels. I've never came into the store and leave empty handed. Pricing is on par with others similarly situated in the business. Some have brought the hotdog man back into the store. Nothing like the quick contractors lunch. So if your updating, renovating, or repairing your home. Stop in and grab whatcha need, I'm sure they have it or can get it. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Checkout was painless. This is where you wanna do business!"

"I visited The Home Depot. When I arrived there was plenty of parking and the parking lot was clean. The store was clean and organized. I was looking for a heavy duty extension cord for outside use. They had several lengths and different colors to choose from. Their prices were comparable to their competitors. The line was long, but moving at a steady pace. I provided my own outstanding customer service. I scanned my own item. I bagged my own item. I processed my own payment. I was courteous, polite and completed the transaction quickly and efficiently. However, I didn't get paid, nor get a discount for doing the same job as their cashiers."

"Though all of our visits and employee interactions have been pleasant, Matt (the assistant manager) gave us, I'd say, the best and most exceptional experience we have ever had at Home Depot in our decades of shopping there. He proactively approached us to help and was super patient about the dozens of questions we had regarding multiple projects. We are not too handy so we especially appreciated his commitment to answering all questions and the ability to simplify things for us. Matt ended up finding a perfect, cost-effective solution for something that we had not originally come in for because we thought it was such a big feat. He made it simple, quick, and fun even, by being so personable. He truly listened and went over and beyond to be solution focused to ensure our needs were met up until the merchandise was loaded by staff into our car. He asked about the project we worked on and helped with yet another one. I was so impressed that he remembered us and the project with detail. "While visiting @homedepot, my wife and I wanted to purchase a door for our home, and we saw a door that we liked. I had an associate look up the door, and he quoted us a price of $4,689.00. The door pic I have below is listed at $2,679.00. He says I'm not sure, so he calls the store manager at the time, which is Michael "Dutch" DeGraaf. He comes over, and I explain the price here is the price I would like to pay he says "No we can't sell you this door at this price because it is priced incorrectly I can sell you this door at the price my sales associate quoted for you minus $500" which is around $4100. So we went back and forth about products being priced incorrectly and he says in Michigan the law is stores dont have to hornor incorrect pricing on products. I'm not a lawyer but "Dutch" must be. But he doesn't help me and I inform him I will be contacting a corporate and he could care less and sends me on my way."
