"Dr Krause is rude. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 6 years due to financial reasons. My x rays showed I had cavities and he immediately started asking me what I drink throughout the day. I’m an adult, I understand how cavities happen, there’s no need to be condescending. He also told me it appeared like I had an infection in one tooth, didn’t offer any antibiotics or pain meds although I stated I was in pain. I’ll definitely be going else where. Dental assistant and office staff seemed very nice though."

"This dentist felt it necessary to shame me about my teeth. I have teeth in good repair and have always gone to a dentist every 6 months my entire life. You can be nice and not overbearing f even if someone does have bad teeth but the dentist is not a nice person. I would recommend a second opinion about their treatment plan. They tried to say I needed all this work it’s turns out that I didn’t really need."

"I've been to the dentist once in 16 years, it was a horrible experience and kind of ruined me ... My wife made my appointment with Family Dentistry yesterday and they didn't mess around!! In and out intake and x-rays 20 minutes tops, with all the information antibiotics and prescriptions I need to prep me for procedure!! They took care of me like a little kid says my wife... She calls me a big baby but they understood at his office its a real struggle to even sit in the chair. I Can't wait to get my grill fixed and turn the new chapter in my life. Thanks Mr. Krause and staff yall are Awesome!!"

"I've been with Krause dentistry since they were originally located in Kzoo, probably about 17 YEARS now. As an adult with my own insurance, I've stayed with them & they've been good for the most part until recently - there was a problem with my insurance, on the insurance's side & it took time for the company to correct. I was not aware when I went in for my bianual cleaning & was billed for the entirety, & contacted Krause's office. Its been very frustrating trying to ensure that my insurance company is billed & that I am not sent to collections, & despite them telling me they've left me voicemails with updates, I've never received one (while still receiving voicemails everyday calls). The fact that when I spoke with the manager & relayed what the insurance company asked me to tell them, her parting words were "we know how to bill insurance" is not confidence inspiring. I feel like this will continue to get messed up because there are mistakes that seem to continue being made & as the patient I'm not being updated. I'm very disappointed & just want to have my teeth cleaned without being spoken to condescendingly when a problem arises. I also work in a medical office & if I treated my clients & patients this way & didn't update them surrounding their accounts, I'd be fired. EDIT: I was dismissed as a client for asking that it be submitted correctly & today, & asking for proof. I was also dismissed because of this accurate review. I had typed out the whole update but it was deleted, I'll update it later.
