"Dr Ray is great! I feel like he's very fair in his assessment for dental care. It seems to be more conservative on dental work so not to over charge you. I can confirm this because I had switched to a different dentist only because this new dentist was 5 minute drive and I have three small babies. The other dentist claimed I needed a bunch of repairs and I reluctantly went with it and now regret as I still have issues on the one repair. I'm going back to Dr Rays. Also the office is super clean! I do not work for any dental office and not affiliated with any members there."

"I can't say enough great things about Dr. Ray and his practice. I have had several appointments, and every experience has been amazing. Dr. Ray developed, and thoroughly explained a treatment plan for me which has exceeded expectations. He always explains exactly what is being done and answers any questions, and I never feel rushed. I had a minor emergency between appointments, Dr. Ray and his staff addressed and remedied it immediately. The entire staff from the front desk to my hygienist Lindsey are absolutely fantastic. Everyone in the office is so pleasant and friendly. I have never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time before being called back, and my scheduled treatment begins immediately. I have never had any issues with billing, insurance, or appointments. This practice operates efficiently, professionally, and in a friendly, welcoming manner. These are intangibles that just can't be measured, but are priceless. No way any other dental office in the area has it all together like Dr. Ray and his staff. I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could.."

"If I could give zero stars I would. After the pandemic closings I made appointments for myself & spouse. I stressed that we have an infant & drive 45 minutes so we need back to back appointments. When we get to the appointment, 30min after my husband's appointment they call me and say our appointments were for the same time and they're cancelling my appointment. Now we get a bill & I call to follow up, because why am I being charged $98 out of pocket for an exam when my husband did not even get a cleaning, well, they are out of network, and as she says "as I'm sure you are aware..." Obviously not, I wouldn't pay $98 for dental care that should be covered. Would not ever recommend. They will find ways to screw you over. This is not the first time they covered up costs and charged more than quoted."

"I have been a patient since 1985 (Dr. Wright before Dr. Ray) and the staff is wonderful! Katie has been cleaning my teeth for years and I can honestly say that I look forward to going to the Dentist -so do my Children :) Insurance and billing has always been effortless as well. I highly recommend Kalamazoo Family Dentistry."
