"Beware! We took our daughters for a checkup and were told that our oldest had 2 cavities that absolutely needed fillings. We felt uncomfortable, and that the dentist was being pushy. They took X-Rays as well, which didn't show the cavities. When we asked, they said the cavities "weren't the type that would show up on X-rays." Ultimately, we decided to schedule a second opinion elsewhere. The dentist on the second opinion told us that my daughter absolutely didn't have cavities yet and should not get fillings. He went on to say that they frequently see kids on second opinions from Small Smiles who have similar stories.
