"Somehow my review isn't on this business page although I could find my original review through my profile on an "old" business page. So here it is: To start off, I dropped off my truck here after hearing good things about this place. My truck would crank but not fire. They had it for about a week and told me that my cam sensor was bad. I said great, let's get it replaced. I drove up there well after I was told it would be finished and learned it was not finished yet. They replaced the part and still couldn't get it to work. They tell me the a part inside the front cover is bad and it needs replaced. I say go ahead and do it. They finally a couple weeks later get it replaced and still cannot get the truck running. Now they tell me the camshaft is bad and it needs to be replaced. They went as far to tell me maybe I should look into getting a new used motor. I pulled my truck from them at this point. My truck was there for over a month and every point of communication was because I had called them first. They would never communicate to let me know what was going on. I took my truck up to a dealership in grand rapids and they had my truck running the very next day. They found a mouse nest under the fuse box and needed to splice some wires together.. that was the whole problem and these guys suggested I get a new motor. The dealership also informed me that AHA put a bolt through the end cap of my radiator. I brought my truck back and fortunately he made it right and replaced the radiator. Unfortunately, my truck takes dexcool (red) and he put in universal (green) that does not work well with my motor. So I took it back to the dealership to get it flushed. Now a couple months later, I get a warning on my dash telling me low coolant.. I've never had an issue with low coolant until just now. After AHA messed with my radiator.. I would not reccomend taking your vehicle here if all you're going to have to do is pay another guy to fix what these guys messed up. I way over paid for my truck to get fixed for chewed wires and I'm still having to pay for what these guys did. (Originally posted in regards to AHA 3 years ago)"
"I'd just like to warn other possible customers. If i could give zero stars, i absolutely would. I had the worst automechanic experience with the owner of this shop. I had my car serviced with them in November for an oil leak. My car was back to me within a week and everything seemed normal. Turns out they didn't actually fix the problem so i had to play phone tag for 2 weeks until i actually got ahold of someone and got another appointment scheduled with them. They had my car for 2 Β½ weeks before they even decided to look at it. They said it would be 4-5 days max. After 3 weeks they let me know they broke a sensor on my car and needed to order a replacement and that was why it was taking so long. 4 weeks in they let me know they "found" a crack in my oil pan so they needed a new one and it would take longer. I got my car back after 33 days with no work statements in my vehicle. 33 days for a simple oil pan leak. After hounding them for 3 weeks i finally got my paperwork and at that point my car was no longer running. My car completely stopped working 5 days after i got it back from them! The statements say their employees broke the oil pan and it doesnt mention what sensor they broke. They refuse to tell me. They continuously lied to me about what was being done to my car and they blatantly ignored my calls. They also without my permission replaced my serpentine belt that they spilled oil on the first time they had my car, causing it to squeel. After taking my vehicle to a much more reputable shop, i found out that they had left multiple sensors on my car unplugged. Most of which they shouldnt have been touching in the first place. The biggest one was the mass airflow sensor. That is incredibly important to a running vehicle! My car now has a transmission fluid leak(that i can guarantee it did not have before going to that shop) and came back absolutely covered in oil and grime. To which the owner basically told me to get over it, even though my seat covers are now ruined. No compensation offered for my multiple ruined things. I have had pleasant experiences with them in the past but i will absolutely never take another vehicle there and will not recommend them to anyone."
"My muffler had fallen off and was pretty bad they managed to get it fixed right away at a great cost. Some amazing hard workers work here would recommend taking your car here to be fixed!"
"AHA Repairs helped me with everything from finding towing, to immediately diagnosing the problem, to helping me quickly find the part we needed and performing the repair right away. The owner went out of his way to get me back on the road within hours when everywhere else said it would take weeks and I was stuck 3 hours away from home. AHA is a highly reputable, incredibly professional, and exceedingly personable shop that goes above and beyond to work with you to find a solution, all while providing honest and reliable service at a fair price. I highly recommend this shop!"
