"I’ve been going to Dr VanHoose for 12 years. I moved away from GR in 2017 and now drive 50 minutes for my appointments. I’ve had fillings and crowns in addition to routine work. I have closer options and probably cheaper options but love this office. They use top of the line equipment and the latest in technology. Getting a crown with their newest machine was great, perfect fit and little adjustment."

"Have been going to Dr vanhoose for years and pleased, but today will be the last time I will I schedule an appointment, my appointment for 1:00 the hygienist called my name at 10 after 1:00 and therefore hurried through my cleaning and then at the end of my cleaning she polished my bottom teeth and then I asked her about is she going to do the tops and she blatantly said I did them, excuse me I know what I felt and what I did not feel! Why would I ask about the tops if she had done them????? a blatant lie and then they charged me for extra work I'm not sure that they did it or not,what kind of a clip joint are they running I would be very leery about going and seeing Dr julie vanhoose, they can claim that they did any number of services and how do you really know, after today I have absolutely no trust in the integrity of of Dr vanhoose's hygienists"

"This dental practice is the definition of mediocre. They office is clean and they provide adequate dental care, but I would never recommend this practice to anyone. I only go here because my employer provided dental plan only gives me 1 other choice. The staff is not overly friendly, the hygienists are fine, and the dentists seem to not care and seem to be going through the motions. I had a filling done here and then experienced tooth sensitivity that would not go away. I got a follow up check and the dentist just said it happens and that I can use sensitive toothpaste forever. Gee, thanks for the permanent tooth sensitivity and compassion."

"I absolutely love Amanda’s my Dental Hygienist. As someone with less than perfect teeth, she has always been super positive, and never judged me. I would literally never keep appts at my last place, and I always go just cause I know I will see her. Dr. Gies, and his staff are awesome! He is so welcoming, and makes you fee comfortable. I have a ton of work I need done and he doesn’t make me feel less than, which i feel is rare among most dentist. Overall great place! Will recommend all my family and friends to go here!"

"I've had a great experience here with both of the Dentists. Interestingly enough, since switching to this office, I've not had to have any fillings, which makes me wonder if that's a reflection on their practices or my previous dentist. The ladies who I have dealt with in the front have been helpful for the most part. On one occasion, there was an issue that isn't worth divulging. However, I was very disappointed in the work of one of the hygienists, and I requested to NOT be put with her again. On my next visit I was happy to see that I was with a different lady. But when I went back the following time I was placed BACK with the hygienist that I did not want to be with. With the amount of dissatisfaction I have with this situation, I'm weighing my options on whether to switch to a new dentist where I can trust that my cleanings are actually being taken seriously."
