"First time here. Great and honest service! I had my VW Tiguan brought in for suspected engine problems. It sounded similar to a timing chain issue I previously had, and my vehicle was giving me transmission codes. Siv worked with me and really took time to diagnose the true problem. Turns out it was a problem with the starter. It was coming apart and rattling against the flywheel while the engine was running. It was a new starter I put in 6 months ago. Even though they did not do the original work with the bad started, Siv took it out, went to the auto parts store I bought it from, swapped it out on warranty, and installed the new one. I appreciate him taking the time to swap out the part on warranty. Most places would just sell you their part, not drive to the store to get it replaced for free for you. This really saved me money and time! I received good communication from Siv, and they were very honest with me during the whole process. They did not do, or try to sell me any unnecessary work. I was originally thinking this could be a couple thousand dollar job with suspected engine valve damage, or transmission problems, but it only ended up being a couple hundred. A big win for me, and great service from Advantage European Auto."
