"This is not a real location for rentals. This location is an unstaffed parking lot for dropping off a car you rented somewhere else. There is no one to help you, let alone answer the phone. You might as well consider this location non-existent."

"Every rental so far has been just a nightmare of problems. Don’t get me wrong, the cars are lovely. But services not so much. Charlevoix hertz is a satellite location. Which means they have no employees there. Even tho there is a guy named Carl or something there. Which he is supposed to pick up your car if you select the option to from the airports if your a gold member. But on my recent trip he wasn’t there on my day of dropping off the car. So now I’m stuck with $300 extra for days I didn’t have the car, because I couldn’t get ahold of him. When I called the Gaylord office (which no one told me I had to do) was told that I had to call the Gaylord office to have the car picked up….so never renting from them again. They put me through to much trouble for a Car. Every time I’ve rented there’s always been trouble. It sucks because they are the only place that rents cars in my area."

"Terrible experience. Would give zero stars if possible. Booked a rental car weeks in advance, and upon arrival I was informed that my reservation had never been put into the computer, leaving me with no rental car. By the time they finally found a car for me, I was hours behind schedule. I was also promised a discounted rate upon return of the vehicle, which I never received. Avoid at all costs."
