Max's Service

"I've bought three major appliances now from Max's. I've found them to be knowledgeable, honest, and refreshingly respectful. I'm a single woman who usually does her research, and I've gotten so used to getting patronized at other places by people who don't know what they're talking about. Max's is the opposite. They know their stuff, help me find out what they don't know, and never talk down to me. I'm so happy to support a business that respects me. The prices are competitive, too. Update: Their service calls are also great. Their own employee came when he said he would and spent enough time to make sure the problem was resolved."

"Boss bought a washer here for the works live in appartment that I'm in, and a couple years later washer is broken. Give them a call and they are 2+ weeks out, fine no problem. The day comes, we get a call "we'll be there between 11 and 1" well they never show up, and mind you this is a buisness so there's always at least three people here, so it wasnt like they came and no one was here so they left. Now they won't answer mine or my bosses phone calls and we haven't gotten a call back. It's now been over two weeks since our initial scheduled date and haven't heard a peep.update: they came a week later from my initial review and got it fixed. The guys were very nice and efficient. Happy to have my washer back."

"Max's appliance has helped us with fitting several appliances into our Lake Michigan cottage. Special order sizes and difficult to fit installations are no problem for the efficient friendly sales staff. And if and when you need a part, the parts department is second to none."

"Max's looked at our dishwasher that was not draining properly. After maybe 5 minutes (I'm being very generous with this) they told us to clean the filter and call a plumber. No further diagnostics. $100+ for that handy work just to come out to the house. We called a plumber who didn't even need to come out after explaining the problem and referred us back to someone who is able to fix the appliance. We've diligently cleaned our filter after each cycle to prove a point it was not a dirty filter issue. We contacted Mr. Appliance who was able to come out the very next day (Max's scheduled a month out) and diagnosed the problem in roughly 20 minutes. Spoiler alert - it was not the filter."

They are honest (say your appliance isn’t worth fixing anymore), reliable, absolutely know their machines, professional, timely.
